Since opening in 2004, Speargrass Golf Course has earned attention as one of the top public courses in Alberta. Stretching out to 6,709 yards, with tee options ranging from 4,900 yards, the par 72 Gary Browning design offers golfers of all skill levels a fair test and a fun day.
Just 45 minutes from downtown Calgary, Speargrass winds through native brush, trees, shrubs, and grasses to offer a unique taste of links-like golf in the heart of the prairies, set against a stunning backdrop of the Rockies.
Speargrass is a semi-private golf club, and welcomes guest play 7 days per week.

This is a social-first league where everyone is welcome, regardless of golf level.
7 day advanced booking applies, but our shop is happy to accommodate earlier requests for full foursomes.
